Southern California Seafood Chain is on the way to Sacramento
Popular Southern California seafood franchise, Crab N Spice, is making its way to Sacramento. Crab N Spice first opened its doors in 2014 in Ventura, California after co-owners and brothers-in-law Jerrico Reyes and Marlon Arsenal took inspiration from similar restaurants in the Alhambra and Northridge areas as well as from their homemade sauces which were longtime favorites of their family and friends. These sauces continue to be prominently featured on the menu today. The newest location of this famed crab, shellfish, and specialty sauce restaurant is expected to open along West Stockton Blvd. near Cosumnes River College.
Crab N Spice offers a variety of seafood (as well as cracking utensils, paper plates, and napkins) for customers to dig into themselves including crabs, mussels, and clams. Seafood is ordered by the bag, hence the need for napkins, and can be customized with different sauce choices, spice levels and add-ons. Additionally, a larger CNS Combo can be ordered which included 3 pounds of your choice of seafoods (shrimp, crawfish, mussels, or clams), sausage, and corn on the cob. Some of Crab N Spices’ specialty sauces which can also be added to any bag include flavors like the original CNS sauce, Coconut, or Hawaiian. Other notable menu options include bag add-ons like corn or quail eggs, and sides that range from the ever-popular garlic noodles to fried string beans, Cajun fries, or even fresh oysters.
Crab N Spice also offers lunch combos, which require less de-shelling and come with rice, coleslaw or macaroni salad, making it a cleaner dining option to the engaging bags of Cajun seafood. Market prices per pound for the various seafoods offered are displayed daily. Delivery options are also available at all current locations.
