Spring has finally hit Sacramento, and along with it comes a handful of new additions to the restaurant scene. Whether you’re into tapas or tacos, bagels or burgers, there are plenty of new restaurants opening in the Sacramento area in 2019. Get a jump start on the warm weather and take your pick from one the new restaurants listed below.

 

Fourk

825 Twelve Bridges Dr, Lincoln, CA 95648
From the restaurateur behind the tapas bar Table Vine in Lincoln comes Fourk, an approachable take on a formal four-course dining experience. The seasonal menu features classic dishes with a modern take, such as deconstructed beef Wellington and roasted asparagus crème fraiche, with most produce coming from Lincoln Hills Farm. Gaspachos

The first brick-and-mortar location from popular farmer’s market vendor Julio Ortiz, Gaspachos serves seasonal fruit cups, juices and smoothies. The Mexican-inspired mix-and-match menu features choices such as tamarind stick and mango with chile.  Now open!

 

Station 8 Burgers

The sister restaurant of downtown’s Station 16 seafood restaurant, Station 8 serves grass-fed burgers and sandwiches, including a Cajun sausage sandwich and lobster roll. It is located in The Bank. Now open!

 

Wheel Lemonade

With summer approaching, there’s no better time to indulge in a refreshingly tart, all-natural lemonade. Wheel Lemonade goes beyond the typical strawberry or raspberry with flavors such as blueberry lavender and mint ginger. Now open!

Also located in The Bank, Platypus Pizza serves Italian-style thin-crust pies. Toppings run the gamut, from traditional margherita and pepperoni to carnitas and bacon Nutella. Now open!

This casual South Natomas eatery offers all the traditional Vietnamese staples, such as bánh mì, grilled pork vermicelli and spring rolls. Now open!

 

Fiattos Pizzeria

353 W Main St, Woodland, CA 95695
Located in Woodland, this old-school pizzeria serves pizza, pasta and salad. Dishes include creative pies such as barbecue chicken and al pastor as well as chicken parmigiana and jalapeño fettuccine. Now open!

 

The Neighborhood Pizzeria

5401 H St., Sacramento, CA 95819
From the folks behind The Federalist in midtown comes this highly-anticipated East Sacramento eatery. The menu includes traditional pies, vegetarian and vegan pies and appetizers such as wings and nacho tots.  

 

World Traveler Coffee Roasters

In addition to its wide selection of freshly-roasted coffee beans from around the world, this Roseville coffee shop offers a variety of coffee beverages and international teas. Now open! Folsom location coming soon.

 

Savvy House Coffee Bar

This friendly neighborhood coffee shop in Elk Grove serves all the classic coffee drinks (from Chocolate Fish beans) as well as hot chocolate, tea and signature sodas with flavors such as blackberry and orchid. Now open!

 

Doggeros

Located in Woodland, this casual eatery features classic American dishes with a Mexican twist. Menu items include chorizo- and jalapeño-topped hot dogs and burgers, steak and chicken tacos, and elote. Now open!

 

Upper Crust Baking Company

634 G St, Davis, CA 95616
Upper Crust has been selling its “farm-to-oven” bread at farmer’s markets for more than three decades but only recently opened a storefront. The Davis shop sells specialty breads such as raisin pumpernickel and whole wheat sourdough as well as cookies, tarts and other sweets. Now open!

 

Bennett’s Kitchen.Bar.Market

1595 Eureka Road, Roseville, CA 95661
Located in Roseville, Bennett’s is made up of two parts: a specialty market with cheese, charcuterie and grab-and-go meals, and a casual bar with full service dining. Opened May 24th. 

 

Southpaw Sushi

1616 Del Paso Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95815
Veteran sushi chef Lou Valente has a bit of a cult following, and his newest venture on Del Paso Boulevard is sure to attract a dedicated crowd. Expected opening: spring.

 

At Ease Brewing Company

1825 I St, Sacramento, CA 95811
Founded by a retired Army colonel, At Ease Brewing Company will be located at 18th & I streets in midtown Sacramento. Selections include Full Battle Rattle Pale Ale and Copy That Cream Ale. Expected opening: May 15th.

 

Kodaiko Ramen & Bar

7th and K Street, Sacramento, CA 95814
Renowned Kru sushi chef Billy Ngo’s latest venture is a ramen-focused eatery located near the Golden 1 Center. While the menu has not yet been released, Kru’s ramen dishes at pop-up events have included pork belly ramen and vegan ramen with mushroom broth. Expected opening: May July.

 

Antojo Street Taco Bar

16th and N Street, Sacramento, CA 95814
On the ground floor of the Eviva mixed-use building at 16th & N streets, this casual eatery will offer traditional Mexican food and an assortment of tequila. It is the lasted project of Mauricio de la Rosa of La Garnacha, which serves affordable Mexican fare around the clock. Expected opening: May.

 

Solomon’s Delicatessen

730 K Street, Sacramento, CA 95814
Named for Tower Records patriarch Russ Solomon, the flagship location of this Jewish deli will be located in downtown Sacramento. It is expected to offer a similar menu as that of its Davis location: fresh-baked bagels and bagel sandwiches filled with pastrami, corned beef or smoked salmon. Expected opening: June 17th July.

 

Culinerdy Kitchen Restaurant

524 12th Street, Sacramento, CA 95814
Chef Keith Breedlove of The Culinerdy Cruzer food truck is opening a brick-and-mortar location in downtown Sacramento. Dishes are expected to include popular items such as burgers, grilled cheese and Brussels sprouts. Expected opening: June.

 

Pizzasaurus Rex

Located in midtown Sacramento, Pizzasaurus Rex is the latest venture from the team behind Old Town Pizza and Tap House in Elk Grove. Expected opening: spring.

 

Burger Patch

2301 K St, Sacramento, CA 95816
The brick-and-mortar location of the popular Golden 1 Center food stand will feature plant-based burgers, “chicken” sandwiches, fries and shakes made from cashews and soy milk. Expected opening: May 4th.

 

Preservation Spirits

1717 19th St, Sacramento, CA 95811
The first-of-its-kind distillery within the Sacramento city limits since prohibition, Preservation & Co. will expand its current space to include a restaurant and bar. Currently, the company offers bottled cocktail mixes, pickled vegetables and barbecue sauce. Expected opening: spring.

 

Back Alley Brewhouse

Located in Galt, this casual tap house will serve a selection of craft beers. Expected opening: spring summer.
